Life after the research paper DOES exsist! I have emerged from the pile of papers that prevaded my life for a month and 3 days! At last, they are all done…. except for 6th period re-writes… but I won’t think about that now!

How to Make Your Works Cited Page
1. Gather all of the bibliography cards that you used in your rough draft. (If you didn’t use a card, put it aside. You won’t need it right now.)
2. Alphabetize your bibliography cards based on the first thing listed. (“The” doesn’t count in alphabetizing.)
3. At the end of your rough draft hit Control-Ente r to get to the top of a new page. • Centered at the top of the new page type: Works Cited
4. Return to Left alignment and begin typing your bibliography cards exactly as you have them. If you still have your reference number from Easybib.com, the website will make a works cited page for you!
5. When you are finished, highlight all that you have done and then go to Format- Paragraph-Special-Hanging.

Today we discussed how to format your works cited page. Here are the things we went over in class.Example of a Works Cited page:

***EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY: 1 pt extra credit for each day early you turn it in. example: turn it in a week early = 5 extra credit points

Technically, you have as many days as you are absent to make up assignments. However, with the research paper, it would be a good idea to get assignments in as soon as possible. Your extention only works for the due date you missed, it doesn’t push-back all due dates following. So, if you are feeling sick, take your stuff home with you just in case. The research paper is a terrible thing on which to get behind!
